
Persephone Theatre invites applications/resumes for consideration for its upcoming production of Martin McDonagh's dark comedy, A SKULL IN CONNEMARA, directed by Pam Haig Bartley. Auditions will take place on Wednesday, July 16, 2008 in Saskatoon. The play will run at the Jericho Arts Centre, Vancouver, from October 9 – November 1st, 2008 as part of their visiting companies series.
The play is about Alma Rattenbury, BC’s supreme femme fatale, wife of the famous architect, renowned for being involved with an infamous murder case at the Old Bailey. What is rarely acknowledged is that she was a famous musician in her own right and a woman who lived her life as brightly as any of the love songs she wrote about. All who became involved with her became larger than life.
